Are you joking? That was a refreshing style of colouring, Adam, you could do far worse, and the colouring filled in something that the previous version of The Zeddemore Factor (When printed as a black and white convention exclusive) lacked, no insult meant to Patton, but it might've been better even if it had grey tones like Walking Dead
I'm sorry to hear about the money issues... us Ghostbusters fans know too well the history of the comic... but didn't you get some sorta of fee from Titan? They'd released the book about a month or so ago...
Oh well, the Preorders for the 88MPH version close on Halloween... hopefully it'll be soon after that the book's printed.
Again, great colouring, I really love it... you've got a nice style of lighting.
thanx alot, good to meet a ghostbusters fan ;D yeah i got paid in the end... just a long long wait can be very scarey/unconfortable and im hoping to get my copies some time after halloween too eek i so want to see them in a printed book! hopefully ill get a chance to do more GB work someday,... esp now im SO much better haha
thanx yeah always ask for something up front before puting any effort in... and never give them the final product until theyve paid... show them really small thumbs then once they know the pages exsist they should pay you... otherwise no deal ;O
thanx ray good to hear from you again on da, ill be sure to try and upload something when i get time ;D working fulltime in games as a concept artist really makes you not want to draw when you get home, im sure you can imagine haha in the end i did get my final payment after a bit of a badgering... and its MEANT to be printed in the next few months.... but ill believe it whe i see it ya know haha ;D
so glad to hear you say that. I was thinking, I'll just bet he learned something to do and something not to do. You're still wonderful and by the way, they can never take that away from you! Cheers Adam. Great work, by the way.
I like the way you use colors to tell the story in this page. The first panel is gold, nice job. Also i like the render of the face on the last panel.
The bad stuff when you start making comics and work on a small company, is always a risk the payment, worst if they say you pay until the book is sold. that happened to me a lot of times when i started. And the worst is if the company is declared in bankruptcy, that sucks!
yeah it seems the coloristsare always the shortest stick in the process so we get done in the most... this kinda burnt my comic hopes for a decent while...but now im making games so things are picking up
Yup some times the comic media its lame, i have some colorists friends from marvel and they say me there is everything different, you have good pay and always on time. But is really hard to enter, maybe some day.
yeah? thanx wayne, i have a few issues with these pages myself but i like certain panels throughout... such as page3s car and page 12s final panel... but then i did some really stupid things like the outlines on the ghosts in some panels... and the shockingly average proton streams... it shows ive improved dramatically since having done these only a little over half a year back ;D
Uh, this is fantastic ~ it brings a funny feeling in my belly... or maybe that's just because I've been eating too many biscuits. But seriously it's very professinal; obviously you can see that you are a professional (tell me if I'm singing your praises too much).
I can really see myself in this scene, and even though I haven't seen the rest of the pages I can really tell what the mood and the atmosphere is. I really congratulate you on this piece ~ it's truly amazing. Thankyou!
